Fast Company ran an article titled “Do You Hire for IQ or Klout Score?” The article argues that your social connectivity may be more important to your future career success than your intelligence. It’s a perspective you cannot ignore on your way to building a great career.

You. Simply. Must. Build. A. Great. Career network.

Your career network might meet face to face—like an association meeting. Your career network might be entirely virtual—like an online community or listserv. Your career network might constantly shift and evolve as different people collaborate on projects.
