You show up early and work diligently all day. You don’t complain or cause trouble like those slackers down the hall. You've worked in your job for many years, but your boss doesn't appear to be very thankful for your tireless contributions - it’s just taken for granted. A while ago, you thought about looking for a new job. So you went online and found a few job postings. You updated your resume and sent it off.

That was six months ago. But nobody got back to you.
